The hand held bidet has to be connected to a water supply.
We cannot really advise on individual installations and we always recommend that you speak to a plumber for advice on your particular scenario. Having said that we do our best to talk through the general options so please do not hesitate to call for a chat.

Below you will find a range of items that can facilitate and enhance the installation.

A simple installation can be quick and easily achieved with a very basic knowledge of D.I.Y.
We retail a self cut kit to meet this requirement.

Warm water mixer valves
Over recent years there has been an ever increasing demand for a warm water solution.
The hand held bidet itself cannot heat the water so this means mixing hot and cold water in a mixer valve prior to delivering warm water to the bidet; as in a normal shower. We retail various mixers dependent on your budget and installation. See below.

Water control valve / stop valve
A practise that we always recommend is that a water control or stop valve is incorporated. This allows you to turn the water off to the hand held bidet when not in use. It will also control the flow of water to the head. We supply a range of valves that serve this purpose.

Broadly speaking in relation to the water pipework there are two types of installation: exposed and concealed.
Exposed
When existing pipework in the bathroom is being adapted and the pipework can be seen (is exposed); the items that work with exposed pipework are more likely to be of assistance.
Concealed
When a bathroom is being newly constructed or refurbished and thus new plumbing is being installed the pipework is more likely to be concealed within/behind the wall. The items that work with concealed pipework are more likely to be of assistance in this case.
Alongside each of the items below we have indicated which type of installation they are suited too.
This is just a general rule and there will be scenarios where this will not apply.

BR001

This item supports the lever shower and at the same time cuts the water flow off to the shower.
We offer 2 types of this wall support depending on your planned installation:

Angle Valve 1
This valve can be used when the water supply feeds through the wall ( concealed pipework).
The hose of the hand held bidet is connected to the outlet and the water can be turned on and off as required.
The valve incorporates a filter.

Angle Valve 2
This is a similar type of valve to the above. It can be used when the water supply feeds through the wall ( concealed pipework).
The hose of the hand held bidet is connected to the outlet and the water can be turned on and off as required using the lever.

MIX 3
This item acts as a stop valve

The AQMIX3 and AQMIX4 have been specifically designed with the lever shower in mind. The mixer controls not only the temperature but also the flow of the water and so acts as the stop valve.
It accepts the hot and cold water feeds from behind the wall and results in a very stylish and practical solution.

MIX 4
This item acts as a stop valve

The AQMIX4 is the same as the AQMIX3 above with the addition the actual support for the lever shower is incorporated into the design so there is no need for a separate wall support.

THERMOSTATIC MIXER VALVE - concealed pipework

MIX 5

This mixer valve has a thermostatic capability which adds extra safety. The valve will not alow the mixed water to come out above the set temperature which eliminates the risk of scalding.
The connectors of the valve are placed within the wall and so is to be used with concealed pipework.
This valve could be used in conjunction with the angle valve or the wall support BR001.

MANUAL MIXER VALVE - exposed pipework

MIX 1

A small, neat valve that will mix the hot and cold water feeds to supply warm water to the lever shower.
This valve can be used where the pipework is exposed, not hidden within a wall. It can therefore be used when adapting existing plumbing.
We supply the valve with an elbow tap that controls the water flow.

This item is chrome plated and can screw in between the hose and the water supply or between the hose and the lever shower head. It can control the flow of water and can act as a stop valve.
It could also be used with standard showers to control water flow and thus conserve water.

We can supply a kit that contains a self cutting valve that in some instances can be used in a D.I.Y capacity to plumb into the appropriate water pipe without even having to turn the water supply off

Many of our sets contain a plastic hose. This metal hose can replace the plastic hose but is an additional item that needs to be purchased.

The Classic, Luxus and Stela sets are supplied with a metal hose as standard.

SHOWER CHECK VALVE
£4.75

This valve is a non return valve. It reduces the risk of water going back the wrong way (back siphonage). It can be screwed in between the hose and the water supply.
